To tell the story of the HydroPack™ demonstration project in Kenya, the Eastman Innovation Lab teamed with Hydration Technology Innovations (HTI) and Uber-London, a digital creative agency,to produce a series of videos. You will find the stories humbling and compelling and the people of Mudimbia as inspiring as the dancing of Brenda Taka.

The floods are what brought Hydration Technology Innovations (HTI) to Mudimbia for a 10-day project to demonstrate how the HydroPack™ can be used in an emergency relief situation.

We started the journey with a simple goal: advancing design through materials. The key is bridging the knowledge gap that has always separated the material and design worlds. Through its coverage, the media also is helping to bridge the gap.

Check out the Thirst for Giving video showcasing three new KOR ONE colors as well as the original blue. One percent of sales for each color will be donated to four nonprofit organizations focused on water-related issues.

Inspiration led John Caruso, associate professor of industrial design at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, to suggest that the Rapid Deployment Flood Wall (RDFW) be entered into the International Design Excellence Award (IDEA) competition.
