Innovative design possesses an ability to dismiss adult preconception and approach new ideas with childlike innocence. No surprise then that when Enrico Cionada designed Sitland's Sit & Move chairs he chose to describe them as being “like a toy made up of many small pieces.”
From its base in Vicenza, Italy, Sitland manufactures office furniture that graces signature corporate headquarters around the world and charms even the most hard-hearted business leader. The transparent Sit & Move takes full advantage of the glass-like clarity of Eastman’s DuraStar™ polymer to make the chair into part of the overall design.
Why conceal the functional when it can be made into something of value? Rather than obscure the rubber blocks that allow the chair seat to move with the body, Cionada uses them as focal points for playful circular patterns – because stylish doesn't have to mean severe.
